Privacy policy

This policy explains what CramCloud (thecramcloud.com) collects, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@thecramcloud.com.

What we collect

• Account: your email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us.
• Learning progress: your answers to practice questions, so we can save your progress.
• Purchases: which course you bought, the amount, and Razorpay’s order and payment IDs. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Refund requests: your exam date, the link to your score report, and any notes you add.
• Usage analytics: pages visited and actions such as opening a free topic or starting checkout, through Google Analytics (see Cookies below).

How we use it

• To sign you in, give you access to the courses you bought, and save your progress.
• To process payments and refund requests.
• To send you sign-in emails and messages about your refund request.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We don’t sell your data and we don’t use it for advertising.

Services we use

• Supabase: sign-in and database (accounts, progress, purchases, refund requests).
• Razorpay: payments.
• Amazon Web Services (Amplify): hosting.
• Resend: sending sign-in and refund emails.
• Google: “Continue with Google” sign-in and Google Analytics.

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside India.

Cookies

• Essential: a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. The site doesn’t work without it.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies, set only if you click Accept on the cookie bar. If you decline, Google Analytics receives only anonymous, cookieless signals. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and progress while your account exists. Purchase and refund records are kept as long as needed for accounting and legal requirements.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to close your account, by emailing hello@thecramcloud.com. We reply within 30 days.

Children

CramCloud is meant for adults preparing for professional exams. If you’re under 18, please use it with a parent’s or guardian’s consent.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. For significant changes we’ll let you know by email.
